This continues to be our philosophy today at Anthony Thomas Builders. Started in 1993 and located on Hwy 83 in Hartland, Anthony Federspill and partner/father-in-law Thomas Waldera, longtime area businessman in the banking industry, worked together to establish a company with a reputation of excellence. Anthony’s mother-in-law, Sharon, is the office manager, and brother-in-law Paul has brought his carpentry and skills from his own business, to the organization as an expediter.

Anthony’s support at home comes from his wife Jill and their children, Tyler, Cade, Tanner & Kallyn. Coming back to Southeastern Wisconsin to start his own business was already decided in 1992 while he and Jill were living in the western suburbs of Chicago. Anthony had worked for two very large building firms in the Chicagoland area and had the responsibility for building hundreds of homes under corporate rules and procedures. While wearing all of the hats as an estimator, contract negotiator and general manager of construction, the final decisions affecting quality & homeowner satisfaction were still made by the company owners. It was time to control those decisions and get back to meeting the client’s needs and wants.

We take pride in giving our clients the quality, craftsmanship and service they deserve.  Many of the subcontractors we use have been associated with us since the beginning and we enjoy working with the principals of those companies, educating them on the Anthony Thomas credo of looking out for the clients’ best interests.    From drawing through construction, our open lines of communication allows for adaptation and suggestions from clients and crew.   We discuss the options, talk to everyone involved, and if the issues of cost vs utility work, we use it.
